Today I would like to share with you my favourite ramen hack. If you are in the mood for something spicy and creamy, this if for you! I must admit that this is not my original recipe, it is in fact my boyfriend’s, Jordan Beach, and all credit goes to him.

This is currently my favourite ramen brand. I love the texture of their noodles, the flavours of the sauce, and the sesame and Furikake package that comes with it. I also think the packaging is fun!

Ramen noodles, spicy stir fry sauce and sesame and Furikake flakes

Step 1. Place ramen noodles in boiling water and cook for 4 minutes.

Step 2. Completely drain noodles.

Step 3. Add noodles back in to pot.

Step 4. Add 1 teaspoon of stir fry sauce and entire flake package.

Step 5. Add 2 tablespoons of cream cheese.

Step 6. Mix together all ingredients until sauce and cream cheese is evenly spread with no lumps in noodles.

Step 7. Remove from heat and serve in a bowl. Sprinkle with Panko if desired. Enjoy!

The final product of the ramen hack recipe

I love how creamy and spicy the noodles are! I added some Panko crumbs to the top for garnish, but that is totally optional. The noodles are also nice and chewy. It is important to not boil the noodles for too long, or else they will become soggy. You might notice that the directions on the package advise that the noodles be drained and then placed back in to the pot with 8 spoons of water. I ignore this direction as I enjoy the ramen broth free. Nothing against broth, in fact I love broth, but I really enjoy the cheesy/spicy noodle experience. Another delicious flavour from Buldak is hot chicken cheese flavour! It is extra cheesy and delicious.

If you really like the sauce, you can actually buy the sauce. My boyfriend puts it in his chicken burgers!

Thanks for reading, hope you enjoy!
